Introduction

At Woods, we believe that education is of the utmost importance – not just for the children of today but for our world tomorrow.

This belief has driven our team, for over half a century, to study how children learn – from a behavioural, ergonomic and cognitive perspective – to develop furniture that is flexible, adaptable and stimulating.

It’s this philosophy that inspires our intelligently designed range of furniture from desks to seating, soft furnishings to storage for both students and teachers alike.
At Woods, we’re for flexible learning.

About Woods Furniture NZ

In the past, Woods operated as a distributor to New Zealand supplying products like the Hokki Stool and Pantoflex chair to schools through a number of different school furniture suppliers. But in 2014, Tony Rogers, the director of Woods, identified there was an opportunity to create an point of difference as a supplier of ergonomic, high quality school furniture, so established Woods Furniture NZ in partnership with Richard Jenkins. We have now built a team and offer a consultative design service along with our full product range directly to the NZ education market.

Our furniture is manufactured at our factory in Melbourne. We hold VS accreditation and exclusive license to VS education furniture in New Zealand.

Our products combined with our passion for education and spatial knowledge as well as a commitment to best practise ergonomics in schools means we are providing a great service and unique take on learning spaces.
